buy it, use it, break it, fix it.

Okay, so it's been a good while since I've had time to spill some updates on here. And I know it's Friday, but with the previous Monday and Tuesday being Fall Break, it feels like Wednesday to me. I was in Seattle this past weekend and without even realizing it re-lived some bomb music. I have to give credit to my friend Lian for getting me hooked on a lot of the music I listen to today. While driving down The Ave in the U District Daft Punk's "Technologic" came on. I freaking loved this song when it came out (way back in high school) and to hear it again in Seattle was glorious. Because of that ignition in my brain I've been listening to Daft Punk since I left. Leave it to the French to make something I can't live without. Check the vid, kid...

And since it's been weeks, here is some more news for your brain. Rolling Stone wrote on the actual Wednesday of this week that MGMT announced their sophomore album will be released early in 2010. It's about time! Although RS says "Congratulations" may be a little darker than "Oracular Spectacular" but I can pretty much guarentee that it will still deliver. Come on, who doesn't need a more psychedelic life?
